Doctrinal Statement
- The One True God - We believe in one sovereign, holy, righteous, and just God who is the Maker and Ruler of all things. He is slow to anger, rich in mercy, and abounding in steadfast love. God eternally exists in three co-equal, co-eternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one in essence, yet distinct in person and work. This divine mystery, known as the Trinity, reveals God’s perfect unity within Himself. Scripture References: Genesis 1:1-2; Exodus 34:6-7; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Matthew 28:19; John 14:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Colossians 1:15-17
- The Holy Scriptures - We believe the Bible, composed of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. The Scriptures were written by human authors under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit, ensuring that they are wholly truthful in all that they affirm. The Bible is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and life, and it is to be rightly interpreted through the lens of historical, grammatical, and theological context. Scripture References: Psalm 19:7-11; Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12; Revelation 22:18-19
- The Person and Work of Jesus Christ - We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became fully man while remaining fully God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and accomplished salvation through His substitutionary death on the cross. He physically rose from the dead, securing victory over sin and death, and ascended to the right hand of God, where He intercedes as our High Priest. Jesus will return physically and gloriously to establish His Kingdom and judge the living and the dead. - The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God, equal with the Father and the Son. Hevconvicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, regenerates the believer, seals them for salvation, and empowers them for holy living. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to every believer for the building up of the Church and intercedes for them according to the will of God. His presence is the guarantee of our inheritance in Christ. Scripture References: John 3:8, 14:16-17, 16:7-11; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 1:13-14, 4:30

The Nature and Fall of Humanity - We believe that humanity was created in the image of God and designed to glorify Him. However, through Adam’s sin, all of humanity became fallen, corrupt, and alienated from God. Because of this sin nature, every person is separated from God and under His just condemnation. Without divine grace, no one can restore their relationship with God on their own. Scripture References: Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23, 5:12, 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-3
-
The Gospel and Salvation by Grace Through Faith - We believe that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by good works but is wholly the work of God in redeeming sinful people. When a person repents and believes in Christ, they are justified, adopted into God’s family, and granted eternal life. Salvation is secure for all who truly believe, as they are preserved by the power of God. Scripture References: John 1:12-13, 10:27-30; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:3-7; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 8:1, 38-39
-
The Church - We believe that the Church is the Body and Bride of Christ, composed of all believers across time and space. The local church is an assembly of professing believers who gather for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission. Christ is the head of the Church, and it is governed by a plurality of biblically qualified elders. The Church is called to make disciples, proclaim the gospel, and live out the love of Christ in the world. -
Baptism and The Lord’s Supper - We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances given by Christ to His Church. Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus and symbolizes a believer’s union with Christ in His death and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper is a regular practice in which believers remember Christ’s sacrifice, celebrate His grace, and anticipate His return. Scripture References: Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-5; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
-
The Return of Christ and the Final Judgment - We believe that Jesus Christ will physically return to earth in power and glory to establish His eternal Kingdom. He will judge the living and the dead, bringing justice and righteousness. Those who have trusted in Christ will be resurrected to eternal life in His presence, while those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation from God. Scripture References: Matthew 24:30-31; John 5:28-29; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:1-8

Biblical Sexuality and Marriage - We believe that God created humanity male and female as part of His good design. Our biological sex is a gift from God and is unchangeable. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s relationship with His Church. Sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage and is a holy expression of God’s design. Scripture References: Genesis 1:27-28, 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 18; Ephesians 5:22-23
